Psychological Intervention

Depending on the concerns raised, the psychologist may conduct individualized session with the child to teach specific skills or to address social-emotional issues through counseling/play therapy sessions.

Group sessions with peers may also be organized when there are concerns about social skills. Parent coaching sessions may be recommended to address literacy, reading and behavioral issues. Parents benefit tremendously and will usually enjoy group sessions with other parents with similar concerns to pick up strategies on teaching our children effectively, building strong positive relationships and to support our children in their long-term development.
