TLC Specialised Groups

In addition to our EIP and SRP programmes run at TLC School, we offer specialised group services for children who benefit from learning with peers.

Specialised Group Programs

Your child can participate in the the following specialised groups at TLC:

For children to improve on speech pronunciation and clarity. TLC Speech Group also helps children to reduce lisping, stuttering, and voice issues to help achieve clearer speech.

For children who present with speech and feeding issues as a result of oral incoordination and weaknesses. When paired with feeding, your child can also benefit from the TLC Sensory Food Explorer Program.  

For children with language delays or second language users to boost their language skills in preparation for school and peer interaction in a language-rich environment.

For children who benefit from AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) to learn how to use AAC more proficiently so as to communicate with others in a more meaningful way.

For children/teens/adults who may exhibit difficulty with:

  • Playing in a group
  • Making friends or forming relationships
  • Taking turns or sharing
  • Thinking of what others are thinking
  • Initiating or maintaining a conversation
  • Understanding nonverbal communication
  • Controlling their impulses or emotions
  • Paying attention in a group
  • Changing “rigid thinking”, thus affecting social interactions

For children with handwriting difficulties to learn writing in fun and motivating ways.

For children who need to work on their literacy skills to improve on their reading and writing skills. This ranges from the foundation of phonics to higher level reading comprehension skills.

A holistic therapy program for children with delays in multiple areas of development including cognition, play, motor and communication skills. For older kids, it will involve following group instructions and group interaction.
